*Happy Hour Concert Series* featuring Ceasar Michael Elloie sponsored by JAZZ FOUNDATION OF AMERICA New Orleans native Ceasar Michael Elloie was raised in a home filled with gospel and soul, drawing early inspiration from his mother’s powerful church singing and legends like Aretha Franklin, Sam Cooke, Stevie Wonder, and James Brown. He began performing at just 14 and wMichael Mc Donald – Guitarent on to study at Southern University at New Orleans, where he played in the Jazz Big Band under Dr. Edward “Kid” Jordan and recorded his debut single, now a sought-after collector’s item. Elloie’s career has taken him to international stages from Tokyo to Taipei, earning wide acclaim, while at home he has remained a vital part of the city’s music scene. Following the release of his album New Orleans to Paris, he continues to create and perform original music, bringing his rich blend of gospel, funk, and jazz back to the stage.
