Cool June is a Nashville-based blues rock band founded by vocalist Ciara Gardner and guitarist Johnny Shortridge. Combining vintage guitar riffs, drum grooves and chord progressions, Cool June rejuvenates a classic sound delivered through Gardner's powerful, sultry vocals.
Brought to Nashville from opposite sides of the country in recent years, the duo met through mutual friends and began writing and performing at local writer rounds in 2012. Before long they had plenty of self-written material and the desire to give it new life with a full band sound.
Drawing inspiration from vocal powerhouses Susan Tedeschi and Grace Potter, Gardner compliments Shortridge’s wide range of guitar influence. Cool June is currently writing for their first EP to be released in early 2014.

Country
Born out of the bars and honky-tonks of Nashville’s Lower Broadway, Will Marion and the Bootleggers take the attitude of Johnny Cash and bind it together with the soul of the Black Crowes. Somewhere between the storytelling of the traditional Country troubadour and the sultriness of Southern Rock lie the Bootleggers. Will and his band have performed in over 15 countries and pretty much all over the South. They have recently released their first full-length record “Cheyenne” and are constantly writing and recording. For more information visit www.willmarion.com
