CASSIDY LYNN

Everyone has a story to tell, but sometimes, that story evolves in ways unimaginable. For Upstate New York dreamer turned Nashville recording artist Cassidy Lynn, that path would evolve through the art of the ultimate form of storytelling, songwriting. This force to be reckoned with arrived in Music City with the spirit of Patsy Cline and the fierceness of Natalie Maines, hell bent on blazing her own path.

Singer/ songwriter Cassidy Lynn mixes the simplicity of classic country music and the honest lyrics of her own life stories into one sweet contemporary sound.

“Often described as having a ‘girl next door’ image with a bit of an edge, I like to keep my roots of true country music played behind my guitar mixed into my contemporary country sound where the music takes hold and things can get a little crazy,” she says.

Born and raised among the dairy farms of Upstate New York, Cassidy began singing when she first began to talk. She began performing publicly at age nine singing classic country songs such as Loretta Lynn’s “Coalminer’s Daughter,” Patsy Cline’s “Crazy,” and Patsy Montana’s “Cowboy’s Sweetheart.” She was quickly given the opportunity to open for Charley Pride at the famous Cortland Country Music Park in Cortland, New York. Soon after, she shared the stage with country music trio "Trick Pony." At sixteen, Cassidy Lynn landed herself a spot in a popular local band and soon began to teach herself to play the acoustic guitar. Together she and the band did some touring, playing state and county fairs, clubs, and casinos all over New York State.

It was then that Cassidy began to participate in live interviews on local radio stations including WBKT, WBEE, WSYR, WFRG, and WBGK and hosting her own "meet and greet" sessions. During this time, Cassidy Lynn opened for national recording artists Emerson Drive, Bucky Covington, Jason Michael Carroll, Tommy Cash, Josh Gracin, Showdog Nashville's Trailer Choir, Bryan White (their duet can be seen on MySpace), Ashton Shepherd, Sarah Johns, and John Michael Montgomery. Inspired by her family’s cottage on the lake and the bonfires they have during the summer nights, she co-wrote a song with Nashville songwriter Larry Wayne Clark called "Down by the Bonfire.” The song and its video were featured on both Great American Country (GAC) and on CMT in the summer of 2008. In her effort to turn her dreams into reality, Cassidy got the humbling opportunity to perform at the historic Ryman Auditorium in February 2009 and 2011. She closed down Riverfront Stage on the final night of CMA Fest 2010 in Nashville following artists such as Kid Rock, Joe Nichols and the list goes on. Most recently she made her fifth appearance at Nashville’s most esteemed songwriting venue, the Bluebird Cafe! Cassidy graduated from Belmont University in Nashville in May 2010. She continues to tour with her New York based band when she visits home and is actively playing, writing, and recording in Nashville.

Jason Wicks clearly likes to stay busy. Somewhere in between playing standing room only clubs, taverns and casino venues all around Central New York, he finds time to care for his horses and fly to Nashville to write and perform with some of Music City’s most respected songwriters and musicians.

Jason has been concentrating on his new music, which fans will hear at his shows. In 2015 he released an EP of 6 finely crafted tunes he wrote based on his life experiences. The CD ‘Life of a Cowboy,’ is available on itunes and will also be available at all his concerts. The album was recorded at the famous Creekhouse Studio in Nashville it was mastered by Hank Williams!

Jason is very proud of his music and his live show. And he should be. He works very hard to please his audience. He wins over new fans everyday.

If you catch his show, expect a nice mix of music that influenced this fine country musician’s sound, including lots of George Strait, some Haggard, Jerry Reed, along with a nice dose of today’s hot country sounds like Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan. He may even try some never-before-heard songs he has been working on for his next release.

Terms & Conditions

This event is 18 and over. Any Ticket holder unable to present valid identification indicating that they are at least 18 years of age will not be admitted to this event, and will not be eligible for a refund.

Starting 6/10/21 our ticket purchasing platform will have single tickets available for advance purchase. No pods or squares necessary. Due to our mid-level size and the number of people we accommodate at our shows, we will treat the show entry just as we do the restaurant: the honor system. Come as you are, no need to show us any proof of vaccination. With the amount of space we have and the anticipated crowd numbers, there will be plenty of room for you to distance yourself from others if that is what you prefer to do. Again, we want everyone to feel good about being back together in an outdoor atmosphere. Tickets may be purchased at the door but we do not recommend that. If we meet our max capacity for the numbers that we, our staff and security team feel comfortable with, ticket sales will be closed. While we don't anticipate that, we have no way to tell and would hate to turn people away. We appreciate your support and understanding as we work tirelessly to get things to the next normal. Again, this is the closest that our area has been to what we were used to pre-pandemic and our hopes are that with your support and need for live music, great BBQ, and some cold drinks we will all be able to fill that void that we have felt for way too long! Thank you for listening. Please be smart and be safe. Let's have a kickass summer!
