The project helmed by Cincinnati, Ohio’s Curt Kiser — announces Every Time I Feel Afraid, their debut album for Brassland (This Is The Kit, Bartees Strange) due out May 2. It’s a project that reckons with the realities and hardships of a life spent running down a dream; a cosmic swirl of heartland hallucinations, motorik Americana, and plainspoken poeticism in the vein of Tom Petty or Amen Dunes; the sound of a dreamer faced with a put-up or shut-up moment, and delivering.

Chrome Pony is an American rock band from the 21st century, adored for their throw back rock and roll tendencies and effortless matching of wreckless energy to honest, thought provoking lyrics. Leaning into shades of psychedelic, vintage soul, and classic country, the three piece finds the perfect balance of these early influences.

Sam Moss is a songwriter and instrumentalist based in Staunton, Virginia. His newest album, Swimming (2025), has been acclaimed by publications like Uncut, No Depression, and Aquarium Drunkard. He has played hundreds of shows around the country and shared bills with Jake Xerxes Fussell, Joan Shelley, Diane Cluck, Doug Paisley, and others. He is also a woodworker.
