The Carrie Zazz Band is a group of lifelong musicians from Queens, New York, taking the Hudson Valley by storm.  Their tribute to the best classic rock and country music of the ‘60s-‘80s will take you down memory lane and remind you of the days when you rolled down your car window and blasted your favorite FM station!  The four singers in this band create amazing harmonies and their song selections will have you singing along.

This band is a local favorite and has received numerous awards, multiple years in a row (Best Band, Best Female Vocalist, Best Male Vocalist - Hudson Valley Magazine), has been filmed for the TV show “Best Band America” and their original music is on regular rotation on various New York radio stations.

Not only will they be joined by some very special guests, but you can expect to hear a selection of original tunes from their newly released EP, Cowgirls and Ghosts.

Carrie Zazz - This girl will rock you with her award winning vocals and her ability to cover multiple genres and singers.  Carrie is the rhythm guitarist, front person and lead singer of the band and has written the majority of the band’s original tunes.  Her song “Ghost in My Bed,”  was submitted for Grammy consideration in 2025.

Larry Bassen - Lead guitarist and prominent vocalist.  Larry has toured with acts such as Tommy James and the Shondels and has played at venues stretching from Riverfront Stadium in Portland, Oregon, to the Westbury Music Fair on New York’s Long Island.  He has spent his career prior to the Carrie Zazz Band, as the CEO of Larry Bassen Entertainment, a premier booking agency for private events.

Ricky Martinez - Drummer/percussionist and also a prominent vocalist.  As the drummer for Sesame Street for 17 years, Ricky can be heard on all of their recorded music since 1994.  Prior to joining the Carrie Zazz Band, Ricky worked for 30 years with Wonderous Stories, one of Long Island, New York’s best and most popular cover bands.

Bob Curiano - Bass guitarist and vocalist.  Bob is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer and has toured with acts such as Mink DeVille, Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow and Blackmore’s Night.  He was an early writer/producer for The Backstreet Boys.

Rusty Park - Pedal Steel.  Rusty has played with major acts from Nashville to New York and is one of the most sought after pedal steel players on the East Coast.  His finesse on this instrument will blow you away!
