The Capital Rat$ have been bringing captivating, high-energy vibes to their fans, affectionately called the Rat Pack, since October 2023. This DC-based, pop/rock cover band has a unique knack for producing fun, seasonal shows with party atmospheres that highlight their instrumentalists' various talents.  Throughout 2024, the CapRat$ sold out multiple shows, and shut down the street at Adams Morgan PorchFest TWICE! When you party with the CapRat$, a good time is always guaranteed.

The group features four talented multi-instrumentalists, brought together by a passion for music and storytelling. Their dynamic sound drives modern rock into a new mode of sonic exploration. The Orange Slices' music includes catchy melodies, interweaving vocal harmonies, and introspective thoughts on life as we know it.

Filed under the nebulous genre of indie-rock, Starting Early has a sound that is unpretentiously fresh. Having cut their teeth by singing Beatle harmonies and instrumentally recreating the sounds of Cream and Led Zeppelin, the band injects a vintage vibe into their exciting and plucky songwriting. Their debut album Hello, was released in the fall of 2023 and is the band's first exhibition of their lively modern and retro rock blend.
