Hard / Heavy Rock, Noise, Sludge, Post-Americana from Louisville KY   Bad Wires is three humans documenting the end of civilization and trying to throw a goodbye party. Rooted firmly in noise rock/post punk/wtf-sludge, Bad Wires is a power trio with a guitar wizard who can whip out some Iron Maiden or Lightening Bolt, a behemoth sludgy chord heavy bass, and a relentless slammer of a drummer. Bad Wires has been compared to Minutemen meets Motorhead, Motorhead meets Whores, a faster more chaotic Melvins, and Karp meets Rush. Based out of Louisville KY, Bad Wires was formed when Corey moved out of Austin TX. Having moved to Austin with his two piece MegaZilla, he spent 6 years playing and touring with Bellringer (ex Melvins and Guided by Voices) and County Bucks (same ex Melvins) as well as MegaZilla. Conner came from the popular Louisville band Dead Room Cult, and also plays in the western meets Iron Madien inspired mad men of Stagecoach Inferno, a Louisville institution. Having recently found another misplaced Texan, Conner and Corey latched on to Jerry the second they heard his chaotic relentless and loud drumming, thus solidifying the lineup.
