Loud, unabashed, punk-fueled rock’n’roll is the offering from the Pacific Northwest act THE SWAGGERLIES. Founded by members of THE SUPERSUCKERS and GUNS OF NEVADA, the band is also composed of members of THE JILLY RIZZO, BIGTOP and VIBRAGUN —all of whom are veterans of the Seattle music scene. THE SWAGGERLIES formed in Seattle, Washington, in 2018 specializing in guitar-based rock n roll in the vein of MOTORHEAD, AC/ DC, and THE REPLACEMENTS. Earle Thunders, bassist Jeromy Leonard and the late guitarist Ron Heathman worked on a Christmas song, “All I Want for Christmas (Is To Be Left Alone)”, for a MusiCares compilation album. Having enjoyed the experience of playing and writing together and wanting to continue, THE SWAGGERLIES was born. After recording a two song EP and a live album, the band embarked on a short tour to Portland, Reno and San Francisco and established themselves as a must-see live act.
