Description
“Mimi Monday” started when vocalists Maureen Murphy, Hollie Hammel, and Kendra Chantelle began posting short covers of Mariah Carey songs online. They quickly garnered a following and their videos have now surpassed a million views on social media. This attention and excitement has encouraged them to put on a tribute show in Nashville to celebrate their love for Mariah Carey and all the vocal excellence that exists within the Nashville community. The group is excited to involve an amazing roster of guest vocalists, and a house band to perform Mariah’s greatest hits. The proceeds of the show will be going towards a non-profit in Nashville called Girls Write Nashville. Girls Write Nashville is a Nashville based non-profit with a mission to use songwriting and mentorship to empower middle and high school girls.

Soul
Kendra Chantelle
Kendra Chantelle
Soul
An old soul with grit, power, angst and blues...stuck in the body of a 20-something year old girl from TN. Kendra never stood a chance at "normal" as the daughter of a drummer (father) and singer (mother) and her creativity was nourished from a young age. She writes songs that cover many genre bridges but always has an element of soul. Rock and roll fits her attitude very well, and being on the road with Cinderella's Tom Keifer has caused the rock and roll world to embrace the young/old artist.
She competed on American Idol (Season 10) and made quite an impression, but was relieved when she moved on to do her own thing. Her "own thing" took her across 10 countries singing for the Armed Forces and she has been on the road with Tom Keifer for three years, covering America, Canada, and most of Europe and Russia. She is currently writing and recording new music.
Kendra has performed with and/or recorded with many artists, such as Will Hoge, Zac Brown Band, Red Wanting Blue, Welshly Arms, Nicole Boggs, Dynamo, Luke Combs, Frank Giovetti, Lamont Dozier, Lzzy Hale, Thee Rock and Roll Residency, Cheap Trick, Chase Bryant, The Scooter Brown Band, Blac Elvis, Harold Lilly, Shannon Sanders, Andy Wood, STS9,The Oak Ridge Boys, Michael Ray, Brennin, Trigger Hippy, Tom Keifer, Kip Winger, Damon Johnson and the list is growing every day.
