Raised in small-town Haleyville, Alabama, singer-songwriter Reid Haughton was just a kidwhen he first started guitar lessons at his local church. It was love at first strum, and Haughton went on to develop his musical style throughout high school before moving to Auburn, AL in 2017 to attend Auburn University. In just a few short months, he quickly became immersed in the college circuit, booking gigs and filling rooms throughout the Southeast.
One of country’s most compelling new voices, Haughton mixes contemporary melodies with modern, red dirt vocals to craft a wholly singular sound. Moving to Nashville in 2021, he’s since released singles including “Got the Girl” and “Break Up Goin’ Down” to rave reviews, shared the stage with a number of high profile artists, and supported Tyler Booth on his 2022 headline tour. Collaborating with renowned producer and musician Sadler Vaden (Jason Isbell, Morgan Wade, Blue Dogs), Haughton’s forthcoming debut EP is slated for release in 2023 with tour dates to follow
