Since 2012, saxophonist Buddy Jay Kieffer has  lead a mighty 9 piece band through an exploration of 1960's Jamaican style jazz music and beyond. The band blends elements of Latin Jazz, dub, calypso,Kompa,spiritual jazz, and afrobeat, with ska and reggae.Original compositions inspired by American jazz and its influence on music created in Jamaica and in the West Indies.
