Contemporary R&B
By balancing cinematic ambition and intensely intimate emotion, Bryant Barnes conjures alternative R&B tailormade for the biggest stages worldwide. The Houston-born singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist has unassumingly blazed his own trail to the forefront of the culture, gathering hundreds of millions of streams, attracting a social audience of 7 million, selling out shows, and earning acclaim from PAPER, Genius, COLORS, OnesToWatch, and more. He has devoted his entire life to music, shining on various instruments as a kid before gaining traction with a series of viral piano covers. Since 2023, Bryant’s tireless grind has established him as a phenomenon further affirmed by 2024’s breakthrough VANITY EP. Beyond standouts like “Don’t Want A Love Song,” “Give Me A Sign,” and “Adore You,” the single “I’d Rather Pretend” eclipsed 300 million streams. Given this success, he also sold out his debut headline shows in New York, Los Angeles, and Houston in less than three minutes. It’s no wonder VEVO hailed him as a DSCVR 2025 Artist To Watch and 070 Shake handpicked him to open up her Petrichor North American Tour. However, everything just set the stage for his full-length debut album, SOLACE, in 2025 and much more to come.

Emotions never sleep. Crying City soundtracks those moments after midnight when all of your feelings come to light at once. Merging lo-fi D.I.Y. beat-craft, gritty instrumentation, arresting hooks, and evocative vocals, the songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer transfixes with equally catchy and cinematic anthems. Born in South Korea, she moved to Indiana at three-years-old before spending the majority of her childhood in Phoenix, AZ. Each summer, she visited family in Korea, maintaining a close connection to her heritage. At seven-years-old, she learned how to play piano, going on to pick up violin during high school. With ambition to become a doctor, she studied neurobiology at UC Berkeley. During freshman year, she expanded her musical palette, listening to the likes of Mitski, Beabadoobee, Radiohead, Billie Eilish, and her “favorite” Chase Atlantic. Simultaneously, she penned songs of her own for fun, sharing snippets on TikTok. Between trending on social media, she made waves with “Nervous” and generated millions of streams in 2022. She accelerated this momentum with “Buy My Lies” and “Better (with you).” 2023’s “Urn” surged as a global phenomenon. The initial sound exploded on TikTok in Southeast Asia, while a popular song lyric analysis page touted it. She eventually caught the attention of Soka Records/Mercury Records and inked a deal with the label. Generating tens of millions of streams independently and building buzz, she draws listeners into a living, breathing, and ever-evolving sonic world on her debut EP for Soka Records/Mercury Records and more to come.
