B.I.G. (Brothers Igniting A Groove) is an R&B Smooth Jazz and old school funk band based out of Orange County, playing both covers and original music.  Originally formed in ’02, the core group consists of founding member Marcus “Slim” Shaw on bass, guitar and vocals; along with Robert Bullet Harris on guitar and vocals; John Bell on keys and vocals; lead vocalist Jon Mykal; and Andrew Jaimez on drums.  B.I.G. strives for perfection each and every time out with high energy engaging performances.  Members of B.I.G have performed with the likes of Stevie Wonder, Sly Stone, Timex Social Club, Tyrese, Rose Royce, Charles Wright, Nancy Wilson, The Brides of Funkenstein, Theodis Ealey, and Lakeside.
