His performances have captivated audiences in over 30 countries, gracing stages at renowned festivals such as the North Sea Jazz Fest, Montreux, Umbria Jazz Fest, and the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. Critics have hailed his work as "exceptional" and "boundary-pushing," cementing his reputation as one of the unsung heroes of modern jazz. Seeger’s musical journey is deeply rooted in the rich traditions of New Orleans and the American South, blending influences from blues, roots music, and contemporary jazz. A protégé of jazz legends like Gary Burton and Ellis Marsalis, he fuses heartfelt expression with technical brilliance to create a unique and personal sound. In addition to his thriving performance career, Seeger holds the prestigious Coca-Cola Endowed Chair in Jazz Studies at the University of New Orleans, where he nurtures the next generation of jazz talent. With over 30 recordings to his name as a composer and producer, Seeger is also a GRAMMY-affiliated artist and endorses Mesa Boogie amplifiers and D’Addario products.
