The hardest working border band has long found a unique fusion of Latin Alternative, punk, ska and rock, which makes for a vibrant live show. Hood Is San Diego’s Phish Tribute Band. This local four piece holds true to the genre of jam band. With extended jams focusing on making people want to dance, we cover songs that Phish write as well as songs from bands they cover like Ween, Zappa, The Rolling Stones and Talking Heads.. Hood is all about keeping the Phish community having fun while not on Phish Tour. And we love meatballs so you better be ready.

Lesser Works is a rock and roll band from San Diego, CA. They love guitars so much that there are 3 of them in the band, which is arguably too many. They hate fascism so much that they almost never shut up about it, which is super fun at parties. And they love each other so much because they’ve been friends for decades, playing in erstwhile bands like Counterfit, First Wave Hello, The Gods of Science, Helen Earth Band, Sayvinyl, Cold Weather Rescue, and more—all of which were doomed to fail in different-yet-equally-exciting ways. Making music that strives to be visceral and introspective, kinetic and dynamic, loud and angry and fun, they follow in the footsteps of San Diego luminaries like No Knife, Hot Snakes, Three Mile Pilot, Inch, and Pinback—all bands who would almost assuredly respond to that sentence with, “Huh. I don’t hear it.”
