BOOT JUICE
Boot Juice has been gaining buzz with its high energy performances and party-sparking reputation. The band features electric and acoustic guitars, three vocalists, bass, drums, trumpet and alto saxophone. Boot Juice shifts effortlessly between driving bluegrass and americana into cosmic rock n roll. They deliver three part vocal harmonies and dynamic instrumental arrangements with a sultry dose of blues and soul. The collective effect leaves crowds little choice but to shake it down on the dance floor.
ALEX LUCERO BAND
Alex Lucero is a musical anomaly. His presence on and off the stage is nothing less than an overload of love and positivity that you can’t help falling in love with. His humble soul and outstanding musical talent makes him a must see show to music lovers far and wide.
Born and raised in small-town Oakdale, California, Alex began developing his musical prowess at the age of 16 by performing live throughout his local scene, turning heads everywhere he played. His velvety, gravel vocals and bass/ guitar playing transforms any room he performs.
At the age of 23, Alex moved to Santa Cruz, Ca, to pursue music full time. Influenced by the soul music of the ‘60s and ’70s, Alex successfully blends the styles of his idols, meshing Soul, Blues, and Americana music, while making it distinctly his own.
Since the beginning of Alex’s music venture, he’s independently released 6 full length albums. Five of which are with The Live Again Band and one solo project that was recorded and produced by his good friend Adam Patterson with The Expendables, entitled “Shine”. Whether solo or accompanied with the band, all of Alex’s projects showcase the raw abilities of his unbelievable voice and musicianship.
His records have received a phenomenal local response enabling Alex to maintain a serious presence and following, playing weekly in both the San Francisco Bay Area and all over Santa Cruz County averaging 300 shows a year! In 2019, Lucero has made strides expanding the magnitude of his live shows, including major venue support spots at the Saratoga Mountain Winery and The Catalyst for names such as Chaka Khan, Michael McDonald, The Monophonics and many more.
Alex Lucero & Band have become a go-to talent in the Bay Area selling out local venues and generating recognizable attention from all angles and genres.

The evolution of Boot Juice has been a magnificent phenomenon to behold over the past few years. This seven-piece band from Davis has done things the old-fashioned way – earning everything they have with blood, sweat and tears shed on stages throughout the region. It’s been more sweat than anything else based on the practically inhuman volume of energy output they generate throughout the course of their relentless performances.
Boot Juice defies the typical assumption that a big band with horns is sticking to the well-worn path of funk and jazz. They certainly infuse those genres into the mix. More than anything though, this is an unabashed cosmic rock band intent on taking audiences into an alternate dimension of pure freedom and dance euphoria where the outside world ceases to exist. Their three-part vocal harmonies carry major impact with intoxicating doses of soul, blues and sultry appeal. The passionate musicianship and group synergy resonates in their pure sense of joy. Drawing favorable comparisons to the sound of The California Honey Drops and the spirit of the Talking Heads, you’ll have no doubt that the refreshing originality of Boot Juice always has a firm grip on the wheel.

Lookout Santa Cruz says, “Lucero invests his cover tunes and his originals with a sensuous style that recalls the great soul singers of the 1970s, a touch of Al Green there, a shade of Van Morrison...”
Either with his full band, or a stripped down acoustic set with his wife and bass player, Justina Lucero, Alex’s musical prowess and alluring vocal abilities leave the audience hungry for more.
