Cox's Army is a Chicago based Bluegrass band founded in 2016.

KR Bluegrass is a group of musicians from southeastern Wisconsin. The band members were regulars at weekly jams where friendships  developed because of their mutual love of old time gospel and bluegrass music. Our music is influenced by the Stanley Brothers, Carter and Cox families and Ricky Skaggs. Our style is simple and true with the  close harmonies of Rose and Kathy and the "Earl Scrugg" style banjo playing of Mike.

Inspired by the ancient tones of bluegrass, The Wood Street Bloodhounds draw their musical inspiration from musical giants such as Bill Monroe, Flatt & Scruggs and the Stanley Brothers. With Steve Avery on dobro, Jeff Bone on guitar, Bob Becker on mandolin, Tom Boyd on banjo and Brian Buhman on upright bass, the Chicago-based Hounds have played venues from Texas to Illinois over the past decade, delighting appreciative crowds with their musical drive, hot picking and close harmonies. Whether putting their own spin on a Jimmy Martin classic or playing one of their own eclectic original tunes, the Hounds tap into the soul of bluegrass and for a listening experience that is both high lonesome and high energy!
