Black Pistol Fire - Flagrant Act of Bliss

  • Black Pistol Fire

    Hard Rock

Black Pistol Fire is a high-energy Canadian rock duo renowned for their explosive live performances and gritty blues-infused rock sound. Formed in Toronto, Ontario, the band consists of childhood friends Kevin Mckeown (vocals, guitar) and Eric Owen (drums), who have been playing music together since high school. Their unique blend of garage rock, blues, punk, has drawn comparisons to acts like Arctic Monkeys, The White Stripes, and Kings of Leon, but their raw, uninhibited energy sets them apart as a force of their own.

Mckeown and Owen initially started making music in Toronto, but later relocated to Austin, Texas, immersing themselves in the music culture that has turned out greats like Stevie Ray Vaughn and Gary Clark Jr. Black Pistol Fire quickly gained a reputation for incredibly powerful and energetic performances.

Despite being only a two-piece band, Black Pistol Fire delivers a massive sound, fueled by Mckeown’s searing guitar work and impassioned vocals, and Owen’s relentless, hard-hitting drumming, paired with synth bass. Their live performances are legendary—raw, unpredictable, and full of energy, often featuring Mckeown jumping into the crowd. Their ability to fill a stage with sound and presence rivals that of full-sized rock bands, making them a festival favorite at events like Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, and Bonnaroo.

With their uncompromising dedication to rock and roll, Black Pistol Fire continues to push boundaries, proving that the spirit of raw, unfiltered rock music is alive and thriving. Whether in a small club or on a festival stage, the duo’s electrifying presence and relentless drive ensure that their place in the modern rock landscape remains as powerful as ever.

  • Pink Fuzz

    Folk Rock

Pink Fuzz is a brother/sister led three-piece out of Denver made up of singer/guitarist John Demitro, singer/bassist LuLu Demitro joined by Will Trafas on the drums. Pink Fuzz came to fruition at the end of 2017. Quickly picking up steam and wanting to expand out of Denver, Pink Fuzz started touring extensively. Creating a DIY circuit throughout the country, they’ve built a grassroots fanbase that has anxiously been awaiting new releases. Finally, 4 years after their newest release “Resolution”, the band is putting us on track for a new album, produced by Kevin Mckeown (Black Pistol Fire) and mixed by Alain Johannes (Queens of the Stone Age, Chris Cornell, PJ Harvey, Arctic Monkeys). This has been their strongest body of work they’ve put out yet. The coined term “High-Speed Desert Rock” suits them; this album is fast-paced, dynamic and hard-hitting. “Resolution” released on September 19th - “The desert is a starting point, not the end of their reach. It’d be fair to call them songwriting-based if they didn’t also kick so much ass as players.” – The Obelisk”

After releasing singles for the album and getting picked up to support The Sword and Rickshaw Billies Burger Patrol on 25 dates fall of 2025 the band is getting busier and honing in their impressive live show - “Tight rock energy, shimmering melody and far out guitar solos, what’s not to like?...The siblings both sing, harmonising with one another, just adding that much more hypnotic momentum to their stonerish, doomy, psychedelic fuelled rock.” 4/5 stars – Metal Epidemic
