Big Mike recently entered the 2026 International Blues Challenge Winning 1st place locally in New Orleans and Won top 3 spot of the entire Challenge. Marking his contemporary approach to Blues music as effective, different and something new to the world of Blues.  He has notably performed at the taste of Chicago on the best buy stage, Chicago Bluesfest 2022 and 2023, The Canadian Montreal International Jazz Festival of 2022 with Chicago's very own Mississippi Heat. He has performed with Sierra Green and the Giants as Musical Director and Bassist. Touring and Performing all over the United States.
