Raised in Maryland, Kaitlyn Croker made the move to Nashville in 2021 and quickly began carving out her place in the music scene. Since then, she’s performed regularly, including sharing an event bill with Ashley McBryde, Bridgette Tatum, and Thompson Square. Her journey has also taken her to notable venues and events such as the prestigious Frank Brown International Songwriters Festival, the famous Bluebird Café in Nashville, the Johnny Cash Farm, and the legendary Flora-Bama. Her rise has been fueled by standout opening slots for artists like Todd Tilghman (“The Voice” season 18 winner), Rhonda Vincent (“The Queen of Bluegrass”), and the ’90s country hitmakers Shenandoah. In 2024, that momentum only grew. Croker opened for country superstar Cole Swindell as well as an event featuring Linda Perry (4 Non Blondes). She performed at the Pensacola Beach Songwriters Festival and the Lake Martin Songwriters Festival, did a meet-and-greet at CMA Fest, and traveled three times to Georgia to perform at Camp Southern Ground, the facility founded by country star Zac Brown. A singer, songwriter, and guitar player, Croker continues to release original music, with more on the way. Both the media and a devoted fanbase are taking notice—proof that her rapid ascent shows no signs of slowing down.

“I believe in the Healin' Powers of a Honkytonk!” That is a statement Derryl Perry not only takes to heart, but also proclaims lyrically in one of his songs. This axiom is ingrained in the Texas culture where he was born and raised, and is the essence of every dance floor in the state.

His appreciation for music made during his two favorite eras, the steamy “Urban Cowboy” days and the prolific “90's country” explosion, inspires his songwriting and performing, and deeply connects those with dancehall in their blood.

Derryl is often asked by fans or during interviews, “which is your favorite... song writing, recording, producing, or performing live?” He typically replies, “YES!” He puts his heart into every aspect of the artist’s duties with similar passion.

This Texas songwriter has had multiple charted singles on Texas radio over the last few years, and is always writing and composing from his unique and artistic point of view.

He paid early dues developing his craft in Nashville, where he was signed to a record deal with Music City Records and had two self-penned national single releases that charted with the label.

Derryl has also proven his “road warrior” approach, as he and his band have been thankful for the over 2700 gigs afforded, including, headlining the NFR Party at The Mirage in Las Vegas, the International Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque, NM, the Strawberry Festival in Pasadena, TX, and many other premier casino and festival concerts, private and corporate events, and bar venues around the country.
