Boston has a lengthy history of outstanding baritone saxophonists, going back to Harry Carney with Duke Ellington’s Orchestra and Serge Chaloff with Woody Herman’s band. Among Boston’s current crop are Melanie Brooks, Allan Chase, Charlie Kohlhase and Kathy Olson. Our baritone-sister Claire Daly has been battling cancer and we’d like to present this Big Boston Baritone Benefit to help her Go-Fund-Me campaign. You’ll hear a set of compositions by some of the baritone masters  as well as a jam session with invited Baritone guests.
