Paper Rabbit is a melody driven Indie Pop band from Syracuse, NY. Singer/songwriter Brenna Merritt joins veterans of the Syracuse music scene including Erik Henning of Polar Bear Club, Jon Davis of Another Breath, Aaron Geiskopf of Election Day and Teddy Casper of Mayflower. Paper Rabbit = catchy melodies, driving rhythms, textured guitar riffs layered with synthy bliss.

Joshua's debut full-length "A Whole New Theory" has maintained a cult status among enthusiasts of late 90's post hardcore and emo music for over two decades. Originally released in 1999 by Doghouse Records, the album is known for its interesting combination of D.C. inspired dissonant guitars, complex song arrangements, and catchy vocal melodies. "A Whole New Theory" made a strong connection with a dedicated group of fans in the late 90s that continues to resonate to this day. Following the success of their 2024 reissue of the EP "Nascent", the band decided to completely re record "A Whole New Theory" along with a brand new song called "History Repeating". This time the album is delivered with more confidence, and greater clarity than the original, which is sure to breathe new life into the legend. The "Redux" version will be released by Immigrant Sun Records (x200) in the states and Stiff Slack (x100) in Japan.
