Evan Fort is a pianist, composer, arranger, producer, and educator from Albuquerque, New Mexico. With deep roots in jazz and a wide range of contemporary influences, his artistry bridges tradition and innovation. He draws inspiration from artists such as BADBADNOTGOOD, Thelonious Monk, Chris Thile, Aaron Parks, and the Beatles.
Currently in his final year at Berklee College of Music, Fort is pursuing a Bachelor of Music in performance and contemporary writing and production.
His projects, including the contemporary jazz group However and the jazz fusion ensemble Taking Off, showcase his original compositions and improvisational voice across multiple musical landscapes. Whether leading a band or shaping a studio production, Fort brings sharp artistic vision and a deep commitment to musical storytelling.
His work spans live performance, recording, and interdisciplinary collaboration, always exploring new ways to expand music’s reach and bring people together.
