Sinking Season is an innovative post-emo band hailing from Seattle, WA. They craft dynamic and genre-defying songs that draw from a variety of alternative, post-hardcore, pop-punk, emo, and heavy rock influences.
The band's journey began in Central Valley, CA as a dual vocalist project. Their first DIY release, "Awake for the Winter" was released in 2015 and quickly gained popularity, with tracks like "The Water", "Vacant", and "Overlap" being played on local radio stations and becoming fan favorites. Over the next two years, Sinking Season performed at numerous shows and festivals, until they went on hiatus in 2017 when the original members relocated.
After a four-year break, Sinking Season re-emerged in Seattle, WA in late 2021. They recorded their first fully-produced album, "Therapy" which was mixed and mastered by Nathan Hussey of All Get Out and released in March 2022. That same year, they also released a 20-track compilation album, "From The Past" which included re-recorded versions of old classics and previously unreleased tracks. Following the releases, the band embarked on a 6-state tour to promote their music.
Sinking Season is now eagerly anticipating the release of their follow-up album, "The Wolves." This new project was recorded in Charleston, SC, again with the talented Nathan Hussey. The band is looking forward to the release of "The Wolves" this spring and plans to embark on a tour to support the album.
