Banned From Utopia (BFU)  is the Zappa tribute act featuring more of his former band members than any other band currently touring.  Ray White (Zappa band ’76-’84) guitar & vocals, long time front man for Zappa on many tours & albums, including SNL, the watershed ZAPPA IN NEW YORK. Scott Thunes (Zappa band ’81-’88) Frank’s longest running bassist, also held the prestigious title of “Clonemeister,” the MD leading the band in rehearsals. Robert Martin (Zappa band ’81-88) keys, sax, & vocals, Robert has also worked with Stevie Nicks, Etta James, Paul McCartney, etc Rounding out the band is: Jamie Kime (Zappa Plays Zappa) Robbie Seahag Mangano (Project Object, TheGrandmothers, Ed Palermo Big Band) Joel Taylor (Al Di Meola, Andy Summers, Greg Howe).   The Paul Green Rock Academy (PGRA) is the latest music school from School of Rock founder, and noted Zappa fanatic, Paul Green. An audition only music school for ambitious students aged 12-18, PGRA has spent the last 5 years touring, alternately, as the backing band for Jon Anderson of YES and Gibby Haynes of the Butthole Surfers. PGRA has also shared the stage with amazing musicians including Bill Bruford, Steve Hackett, and Phil Manzanera
