The years have seasons. Life has seasons too, and the nature of change, love, loss, and rediscovery are central themes explored by Band For Sale, the Pop/Rock/Folk hybrid creation of musician, composer and producer Dave Brandwein.    A polar musical opposite to Dave's years as co-founder/frontman of nine-piece "Powerfunk" outlet Turkuaz, Band For Sale draws inspiration from both British and Americana rock of the 20th century. From The Beatles and Pink Floyd to Radiohead and Oasis; Paul Simon and James Taylor to Jeff Buckley and Sufjan Stevens, this project boils down decades of musical influence and life experience into a new context with an ever-evolving exploration of sound and style, aimed at capturing the spark and feeling that made him want to pursue a life of writing and performing music as a child.    Along with the help of a select group of collaborators from other notable bands of the last couple decades, Brandwein recorded and released his debut album, "Sleeping Sun, Waking Moon" in 2022. Now, in 2024 with a string of singles, a sophomore album, and live performances on the way, Band For Sale continues to be his most personal creative outlet and musical passion.
