Baked Shrimp
Jam Bands
Since forming in January 2017, Baked Shrimp has broken into the Long Island and NYC jam scene and, over the course of the past year, the high-energy rock trio have played unique shows across the Northeast and are looking to build on that success in 2018 with the release of Feast of Delight that puts front and center a distinct ’90s indie vibe.
Following the release of Feast of Delight, Baked Shrimp now gets started on a brand new chapter by introducing their brand new drummer, Jager Soss, a well-versed experienced musician, who has played with greats such as George Porter Jr., Butch Trucks, Brandon "Taz" Niederauer, and more.
"One of Long Island’s best kept secrets"
- Pete Mason; NYS Music
"Guitar work that makes the song a distant cousin of Henry Mancini’s calliope in “Baby Elephant Walk,” building firmly and erupting for a fire-y ending."
- Pete Mason; NYS Music
"Even if the bands are nearly 25 years apart, and a little dose of Talking Heads’ “Cities,” wrapping up an album that will be perfect for afternoon listening and dancing to late into the night this summer."
- Pete Mason; NYS Music
"They are a young jam trio with compositional pieces. Drums, bass and guitar with some vocals. They are definitely from the Phish jam band world, but that is not a problem for me. They are energetic, and purposeful and I thought they were a good band."
- Angel Simon; Live Music News and Review

Roots Collider
Music
RootsCollider is an "Underground Funktronic Dance Rock" band from Rochester, NY that uses a studio producer's approach to writing original music. The group creates their art primarily by layering melodies, rhythms, and samples made in Ableton with an anthemic riff rock approach. Think of if Rage Against the Machine & The Beastie Boys went to an illicit warehouse rave and collaborated with all of the DJ's from EDM's golden era of the 1990's.
