Bailey w/ Special Guest: Emily Chambers
-
Born in Memphis, TN, Bailey was raised on the sounds of Smooth Jazz, Barry White, Al Green, and Beale Street. The influence obvious as soon as you meet her, and undeniable when she is performing. At just 7 years old, Bailey's mom (an incredible vocalist herself) enrolled her in voice lessons with her former voice coach, the late and great Bob Westbrook. Under the guidance of Bob, Bailey would start performing all over the mid-south and by 14 years old her resume would include performances in New York, Los Angeles, and at the Vatican in Rome. After attending Berklee College of Music, Bailey found herself between NYC and Nashville where she would find her own voice as a writer and performer. It was on her NY fire escape that she would write her first EP "Again - Vol. 1," and back in Nashville where she would finish the recording process under the guidance of her good friend Jus James. "Again - Vol 1" was released May 23, 2022.Her latest release, “You’re the One” is available on all platforms. She loves The Manhattans, Oreos, and Negative Ions from the Ocean .

Raised in Vancouver, BC Chambers now splits time between Canada and the US, residing part time in Nashville. But if you’re looking for her, chances are she is on an open highway. A road warrior at heart, Emily dreamed of quitting her 9-5, moving into a camper van and touring indefinitely. In 2016 she made that dream a reality. Chambers has now completed two US tours in her 1983 Dodge 250B, performing in LA, Oklahoma, Dallas, Austin, Las Vegas, New Orleans, Nashville, Atlanta, New York City and more. Some shows of note include New Years Eve at the Park MGM in Las Vegas, opening for R&B artist Andy Allo at The Mint in LA, opening for Jessica Childress at West Hollywood’s Peppermint Club, and opening up for the likes of Delta Rae, Walker Lukens, and the New York based soul-pop group Lawrence at Biltmore Cabaret in Vancouver.
Chambers has been singing the Sister Act soundtrack since she was 3 years old. She trained with Canadian Jazz singer Joani Taylor from the age of 8 to 18, attended Berklee College of Music on a vocal scholarship and busked across the South of France and Italy. She ran a 5 piece soul-pop-funk band called Champagne Republic for 5 years before releasing her solo EP Magnolia in 2016. Emily is currently planning her next US tour while writing and recording new material for release in 2019. Follow her on Spotify to hear the latest!
