Bad Cactus Brass Band has been bringing second line, funk and street jazz to the Phoenix metro since 2009. With trumpets, saxophone, trombones, sousaphone, marching drums, and plenty of singing and shouting, their stage show is a boisterous, high-energy party. Their new album, "Back For Another Round", features hilarious songwriting drawing from hip-hop, latin rock, ska, and soul, plus funky covers and collaborations with Phoenix vocalists.

Hyperbella is an intergalactic neo-soul/experimental pop duo from Phoenix, AZ. Composed of artists Cassidy Hilgers and Carly Bates, Hyperbella draws influence from Hiatus Kaiyote, Little Dragon, Lianne La Havas, and Radiohead, fusing complex harmonies with polyrhythmic textures and alternative jazz improvisation. They seek to capture relatable images and experiences within their lyrics and blend equal parts ethereal sounds with intense build-ups and breakdowns.

Prime Society is a Southwest rap group turnt band based in Phoenix, AZ consisting of J. Reid on bass, Shy & Infin8 on vocals and Juanton Soup on keys. The addition of live instruments brought a different element to the band’s neo-soul sound.  Prime’s latest single “After Dark” was written and produced by Shy, and their single “Paradise” landed them on Discover Weekly and #2 on the Global Top 150 Independent charts on digital radio. The band just released their albums “The World Is Yours”, featuring the singles “After Dark” and “Paradise” and a deluxe re-release of “Know Your Worth, Now & Forever” featuring 14 brand new tracks.
