45 Ballerinas is a tribute to the "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" glam rock musical phenomenon. This supergroup consists of members of several current and past Cleveland bands. They are fronted by Joshua Nelson (vocals, keys), a veteran of L.A.s 'Rainbow Carnage' Hedwig shadowcast and longtime Cleveland area musician. The band also features Angelisa Crognale (guitar and vocals), Steph Burke (guitar) and Becky McMahon (drums), all members of effervescent local pop-punk favorites 'Life Magnetic' and Brendan Foreman (bass, vocals), who formerly held down the low end in 'Fear of Work'. Together they recreate the sights and sounds of Hedwig, but with their own unique spin, sure to make any Hed-head blush with gender expansive joy!
