Aurore Voilqué is a renowned French violinist, vocalist, and bandleader celebrated for her vibrant interpretations of jazz and swing music. Born in Aix-en-Provence, France, she began playing the violin at an early age, drawing inspiration from classical traditions before immersing herself in the world of jazz. Influenced by the works of Stéphane Grappelli and Django Reinhardt, Voilqué developed a unique style characterized by virtuosity, emotional depth, and a dynamic stage presence. Over the years, she has collaborated with numerous acclaimed artists, such as Thomas Dutronc, Angelo Debarre, and Rhoda Scott. In addition to her prolific performance career, Voilqué leads the Aurore Voilqué Jazz Quartet, a group that blends classic swing, gypsy jazz, and modern influences. The ensemble’s recordings and live performances have garnered critical acclaim for their energy and authenticity.
