Modern jazz quartet from New Orleans founded in 1978, the Astral Project has delighted audiences around the world for more than 40 years now with its unique brand of cutting edge improvisation and near telepathic interplay over deep New Orleans’ grooves. A devoted student of Eastern philosophy, Dagradi coined the band name as a reflection of the group’s quest for a higher plane of experience.  Rolling Stone Magazine describes Astral Project as "ECM-style grace with New Orleans humidity." In order to preserve the integrity, quiet and focus of our world class intimate concerts, only the charcuterie, cocktails and soft drinks are available for table service inside the Music Room. However, we encourage you to arrive at least 90 Minutes prior to your showtime in order to enjoy full, relaxing dinner service in the Dining Room right next door, before getting seated in the Music Room for your ticketed showtime.
