If Harlan Howard was right when he said “country music is three chords and the truth”,
then Chris Housman is one of the best qualified artists working in Country today.
Beyond the classic twang, rich six string backed sound, and disarming Kansas baritone,
his offerings in the genre gently, yet unapologetically, speak his truth at every turn. As
an openly gay country artist, he thoughtfully marries two worlds that, to many, are at
odds with one another. Whether it’s the fable-like “Drag Queen” which celebrates a
small town teacher of the year who goes from Michael to Michelle after hours, or the
viral sensation “Blueneck”, a welcoming homespun manifesto that proudly declares
“y’all means all”, Housman’s music offers a musical bridge in a divided time. Called
“irresistible” by Rolling Stone, with Good Morning America praising him for “making
waves”, and Billboard staunchly affirming him as a saving grace for “outcasts in the
genre,” Housman’s message, embodied in his upcoming debut album “Blueneck”, is a
simple one: Country is for everyone. Given his 4.5 million streams and 230,000 online
followers, it's clearly a message that the world wants to hear. -
Blake Rackley is an entertainer from Midland, TX. With a songwriting journey that began at
fourteen, he creates music with heartfelt lyrics and captivating melodies. Moving to Nashville in
2013 to pursue a career as an artist in the entertainment industry, Blake Rackley's music can be
found on every streaming platform. Aside from singing/songwriting, Blake hosts Ranch Hands
Cowboylesque every Fri/Saturday night at Cannery Hall and is the co-host of the pop culture
podcast "REWIND: The Podcast", releasing new episodes every Wednesday with his partner-in-
crime, Raven Dawson. -
Kalina Tyne is an indie-pop singer/songwriter. Since graduating from Belmont University, Tyne
splits her time between Los Angeles and Nashville, writing, playing shows, and releasing music
under her artist project. While participating in the ASCAP GPS program, Tyne has honed her
co-writing and top-lining skills as she focuses on pursuing more opportunities to write for other
artists, as well as for film/TV. In all projects she has a hand in, Tyne strives to create music that
succinctly and smartly tells a story—her own, or another artist’s. In a review of her music, Mitch
Mosk of Atwood Magazine said it best: “all killer, no filler.”
