For the third straight year, Apostle Jones & Friends return to the Legendary Grog Shop for a one-night-only show that has become a powerful annual gathering of some of Cleveland’s most compelling musicians and singers.

The Blues & Soul Slam is more than a concert — it’s an immersive, full-band celebration of the music that shaped us. Over the past two years, the walls have shaken with raw vocals, deep grooves, and once-in-a-lifetime collaborations. This is community at its best: artists stepping up together to throw down on the blues and soul songs that move us.

Past Slam performers have included Barbara Barrett, L.A. Bailey, Esther Fitz, Scott Hanna, Taylor Lamborn, Austin “Walkin’” Cane, Brent Kirby, Ray Flanagan, Frida, Bria Miller, Henry LoConti and Honey Monai — a lineup that reads like a love letter to Northeast Ohio’s musical spirit.

Year three is shaping up to be another landmark chapter — bigger energy, deeper cuts, and the kind of electric, shared experience you can only get when a packed room meets a stage full of soul.
