Their instrumentation is a nontraditional mix of steel guitar, ukuleles, odd tuned baritone and electric guitars, bass, drums and a variety of percussion instruments.
Fronted by a man swinging an ax known as ‘Crazy Al,’ their live shows are not to be missed experiences which is why you might find yourself dancing next to someone rather interesting.

Music
RADIO VELOSO forge a sound that brings to mind a 70’s movie soundtrack set against the modern-day San Francisco backdrop. The instrumental quartet intertwines afro-funk psychedelia and 60’s soul with roots that can be traced to artists like Money Mark, The Budos Band, and Tommy Guerrero. RADIO VELOSO gigs regularly throughout the Bay Area, has released three EPs, and will release their first full length album “…and Other Subjects”, this year.
