Anthony Thomas Martinez is a Multidisciplinary Artist, Saxophonist, Composer and Producer from San Antonio, TX. His musical journey started at the age of 12 when his father gave him his first saxophone. Throughout High School, Anthony was a part of the Texas All-State Jazz Ensembles and was the recipient of numerous awards, including the DownBeat Magazine “Outstanding Soloist Award.” He later continued his studies at Berklee College of Music and now performs regularly in San Antonio and at many popular Jazz venues around the US. His upcoming Bay Area Tour, September 25-October 9, will feature his two recent independent self-released albums “An Owl’s Tale” and “Live at The Palladium.” "My music is expression, heavily rooted in the Jazz & Blues language but most importantly, it is improvised music reflecting who and where I’m at in my journey as a human being."  Ages 8+ BLUE NOTE NAPA is located on the first floor of the Historic Napa Valley Opera House at 1030 Main St. We are an intimate 144-seat jazz club and restaurant, where you can enjoy performances of world renowned and local Bay Area artists alike.
