ANFANG are wizards of angst conjuration. Founded in Chicago in August 2018, ANFANG is an Alt/Grunge Rock 3-piece fronted by the soaring vocals of singer/songwriter Andie Zaragoza. ANFANG’s riff-heavy arsenal of sounds are driven by Christian Newman on bass/rhythm guitar, with Nick Rissler keeping things metronomically sound on drums. Their grungy grooves scintillate with rich atmospheric texture; sugar-laced with anthemic pop melody and bursting with unresolved emotion - the human heart in conflict with itself, As a band, each member contributes to the songwriting process, bringing their own sound and histories with them. The result is a delightful yet face-melting blend that makes one’s heart and ears hurt pleasantly in equal measure.

Simply put, Wynton Existing is Wynton Existing due to the fact that Wynton exists to make art. Rather then identify as a specific genre, Wynton Existing is an exploration of sounds, vibes and emotions, generally which finds itself swimming around Garage, Psychedelia, Progressive, Punk, Stoner, Indie, and countless other subgenres. The mission of Wynton Existing isn’t to highlight Wynton alone, but to remind the listener they exist too. The band invites us to live in the moment and open the audience up to the opportunity of feeling something. You too are alive and can exist just as brightly as the talent on stage. The live show is a high energy splendor of noise experimentation, jams, and crowd participation, inviting the audience to join the madness with psychedelic breakdowns in songs such as “Tomtom Song”. The lyrical content ranges from wonder, perseverance, anguish, curiosity, hopelessness, inflection, and varying levels of acceptance, all generally with enough vagueness for the listener to takeaway their own meanings. Wynton Existing wants to pull the safety net off the music industry. They can make a big hit single, but don’t want to limit themselves to just making pop songs, they can play a consistent genre, but don’t feel they should be defined by a singular style. As Andy Warhol said:“Don't think about making art, just get it done. Let everyone else decide if it's good or bad, whether they love it or hate it. While they are deciding, make even more art.”

Sin.WithAPeriod is a supersonic psychedelic garage rock project based out of the depths of the underground music scene in Chicago, Illinois. The band is fronted by Ethan Oliver on vocals and guitar, Brian Chindblom on lead guitar, Joe McTague on bass and Caleb Nelson on drums. This 4 piece powerhouse of a group uses glamourous sparkly chords, fuzzy and spacey guitar tones, simple yet effective rock beats, exhilarating bass lines, and chilling vocals to create a beautiful amalgamation of “Do It Yourself”, psychedelic rock fusion. Sin.WithAPeriod Is a reclamation of the the biblical term “sin”. It is a rejection of the shame surrounding human desire and emotions especially as it pertains to the Christian faith. Sin. embraces our animalistic tendencies, our primal instincts, the darker sides of our hearts.
