Ally J Ward is a self proclaimed dumb baby and good girl. She is a queer and trans standup comedian, improviser, and storyteller out of Portland, Oregon. Ally has been described as a lovable shithead with a comedy style that lends itself to being slightly dry, witty, and subversive. Her stand up takes a narrative approach towards her queer, trans, fat, and kinky identities. She has won a Moth and has competed on their grand stage. She has been named an undisputed genius of comedy by the Portland Mercury and one of the Hottest Queer Comedians of Today by Out Magazine. In 2025 she was named Best Comedian in a reader’s poll and voted amongst her peers as Portland’s Funniest Person by the Willamette Week. Ally has also hosted Dan Savage’s Hump Festival, and opened for big names such as Juno Birch, Ian Karmel, Alex Hooper, and Rachel Scanlon of Two Dykes and a Mic.
