On March 12 and 13, 1971, The Allman Brothers Band played two shows at Bill Graham’s legendary Lower East Side venue. ‘At Fillmore East’ has since been regarded as one of rock and roll’s greatest live albums, documenting one of rock history’s unparalleled concerts.
LIVE AT THE FILLMORE, the world’s leading Allman Brothers Band tribute, will recreate 'At Fillmore East' cover to cover for the 48th anniversary of the famous 1971 shows. The band evolved from a group formed by founding member Lou Maresca in 1971, shortly after he saw the original Allmans play venues like The Fillmore East and Central Park’s Schaefer Summer Concert Series, and before Duane Allman and Berry Oakley’s untimely deaths.
