BACKYARD BAND also known as BYB is the most successful and widely known Go-Go band in the Washington, DC area.  The band is fronted by Anwan ‘Big G’ Glover best known for his role as Slim Charles on HBO’s "The Wire" and and Keevon White on “Treme”.  Glover can  currently  be seen as “Leon” on HBO's "The Deuce" starring James Franco and Maggie Gylenhall. Backyard regularly sells out 1000+ capacity rooms in DC and enjoyed their first radio smash in 2016 with their Go - Go version of Adele's "Hello"
