Soul'd Out Presents: Ali   with Salo Panto Doors: 7:00pm Show: 8:00pm  Ages 21+.  ALI Ali is a three-piece musical project originating from Jakarta Indonesia. Initiated by Arswandaru and John Paul Patton, the desire of Ali is to incorporate Middle Eastern culture with elements 70’s Indonesian psychedelic funk, cinematic soul, afro beat, and disco to create a new groove and sound to the contemporary and vibrant Indonesian music scene. With all lyrics written in Arabic, Ali builds on the influence of Middle Eastern art and music, which over centuries has assimilated itself deep into Indonesian culture and way of life. Also as the cultural heritage of Arswandaru as an Indonesian – Arab mixed to implement the Arabic lyrics. John Paul (Drums) and Arswandaru (Bass/Vocals) are joined by Absar Lebeh on guitar to complete the trio. They are bringing their self described ‘Middle Eastern Beats with South East Twists’ to Indonesia and the world. Ali promises to deliver a diverse and unique experience to the Indonesian music and festival scenes. Salo Panto Salo Panto has been playing shows in and around the Pacific Northwest since 2016.  Keyboards and synths fill the cracks of the walls of sound that guitars create in their sonic landscape.  With influences as broad as their show’s range, Salo Panto never tries to recreate the same song or vibe twice.  Variety, while maintaining their own fingerprint, is paramount.  With uninterrupted flows of songs and varied peaks and valleys, Salo Panto simply strives to put on a great show.  --- Notes on Seating: Open seating, may be limited or standing room only.
