Curious Grace & Black Rabbit
Curious Grace & Black Rabbit
Indie Rock
CG&BR is a six-piece indie art rock band that delivers a powerful, groovy-beautiful mix of sounds. The band's Irish roots and strong front women were the inspiration for Grace. The band's psychedelic rock is where the black rabbit came in, like a trickster playing with the dark magic of a D minor chord.
CG&BR plays new wave and punk-inspired rock with bluesy, psychedelic grooves, progressive arrangements, and modern melodies backed by full throttle guitar. Our sound combines Irish/Brit-rock influences with intense electric instrumentation, driving rhythms and often dark lyrical content that evokes the beauty of ruin and renewal.
#WorldOnFire, set to release June 28, is an album for this moment. It was born out of the madness and magic and tedium of living in a Twitter-driven world that can’t tell whether a dream is upside down or downside up. We tapped into the angst… the defiance… the uprising. The result is an album that celebrates complicated dreams, heroines and heroes.
Curious Grace & Black Rabbit is: Tom Erangey (bass, vocals), Mary Erangey (electric cello, vocals), Mike Conley (guitar), Bojan Kolevski (keys), Heidi O’Toole (vocals) and Scott Way (drums).
CG&BR commissioned Swedish artist Mattias Gordon to create the album cover art, a wickedly clever piece of pop surrealism. Gordon also created the animation art for Curious Grace’s 2013 release of Blue Umbrella (an earlier formation of Curious Grace & Black Rabbit).

Wilde is a Chicago-based 5-piece Band, founded in 2015 by Paul Palos & Timmy Briones. It began as an experiment to bridge the rich musical tradition of American folk and the gritty lyricism of urban rap. It has since morphed to incorporate multiple musical genres including: blues, rock, gypsy, and indie. Yet, at its core it remains a musical expression of Americana.
