Live Nation Presents:
Al Olender with Ahna Ell
Mon, 30 Mar, 8:00 PM PDT
Doors open
7:00 PM PDT
Cafe Du Nord
2174 Market St., San Francisco, CA 94114
Description
Songwriter Al Olender tries to grasp the brief, beautiful moments that make up our lives in slow-motion but finds that the tighter she holds on, the more these frames fall into a soupy blur.
Olender captures the anxieties of an ever-moving world with a sweet and silly sincerity on her second full-length album The Worrier, never shying away from staring the truth right in the face.
Exploring anxiety, sexuality and anarchy, both in herself and in her relationships, Olender’s acoustic, bluesy melodies point to the butterflies of first crushes, the gut-punching realities of responsibility and the eternal romance of friendship.

Ahna Ell
Ahna Ell
Music
Ahna Ell is a songwriter steeped in poetry and wandering. Her fourth release, 2026's Ride On, marks her most imperative work yet with its unflinching embrace of longing and resolve. After touring for a decade (Forlorn Strangers, The Rally Club), Ahna launched her solo project with lofi bedroom folk album Everybody's Gonna Let You Down in 2021, followed by two live EPs, and a handful of singles. Now, she's on the road bringing the songs to life as often as she can. Birth, death, pancakes, heartache, Charles Manson, and Pascal’s God shaped hole—Ell mines the ordinary and the exceptional for meaning. When not writing, Ahna’s probably surfing or eating oysters.
