Description
We're closing out our 2024 season with a personal favorite of ours - the legendary DJ Dee Money from Chicago. The Nigerian-born afrobeats pioneer was the mastermind behind the NaijaDJ record pool in the late 00s, which helped funnel West African club music out to the rest of the world. Since then, he's maintained a stronghold on the Midwest's afrobeats scene and is arguably one of the most important Afrobeats DJs in the US. Get ready for this masterclass in Afrobeats on full display.
As always, the full Afrobeats Oakland family will be on hand - Juan G, KOKO, TieDye Trippin, Mis Gentes, and Goma - alongside some special guests.
