    Aesthetic Perfection

    Electro-Industrial

Aesthetic Perfection is a 100% independent industrial pop project made up of Los Angeles-born, Austrian-based producer Daniel Graves and New York based drummer Joe Letz. Over a career spanning 20 years, six full-length albums, and numerous singles and music videos, Graves and crew have reinvented dark electro, combining industrial, pop, goth, and everything in between.

Despite flying under the radar of mainstream audiences for decades, Aesthetic Perfection are no strangers to the music world; the band has clocked countless sold out dates on headlining tours across both Europe and North America. Their success on smaller stages prepared them for their most recent adventure: supporting Till Lindemann (Rammstein) on his debut tour for his Lindemann side project.

Adding that to their growing list of accolades, such as collaborating with the likes of Richard Z. Kruspe (Rammstein), Jinxx (Black Veil Brides), Celldweller, Nikki Misery (New Year’s Day), Sebastian Svalland (Pain / Lindemann) as well as featuring tracks on Netflix original programming and the Underworld: Awakening soundtrack, Aesthetic Perfection continue to poise themselves as a force to be reckoned with. With their most recent full-length album, Into the Black, under their belt, the band is ready to take the next step and spread the gospel of Industrial Pop to an ever-widening audience—with full rein of their creative output.

“[Into the Black] is a tour de force, a passionate heart navigating all the coruscating tension of 22nd-century technology.” – Alternative Press

Into the Black is the most mature Aesthetic Perfection album to date. Dark and gritty, yet undeniably catchy and melodic, Into the Black builds upon the band’s past while solidly keeping its eyes focused on the future. From the haunting electronic melodies of “Supernatural” to the twangy guitars of “Echoes”, from the punch-to-the-gut beat of “No Boys Allowed” to the soaring highs of “Mourning Doves,” Graves takes the transgressive art form known as industrial pop to the next level.” – Uncivil Revolt

The instability of the music business in the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic led to the launch of the “12 Singles in 12 Months” project which will unveil the final installment “Lonesome Ghosts” on December 3rd.

As the saturated synths rise behind the lyrics “Just take your stamp off my design” on Josie Pace’s driving single, “Battleground” we immediately understand this is not an artist who is weak when abandoned. Instead, this Detroit artist’s music represents a piece of her solitude. The blistering glow of downtempo post-industrial beats, electro-pop melodies and layered soundscapes are home to Josie’s captivating lyrics; she is a songwriter in the purest sense. The result is a pulsating sound that will haunt you with vulnerability while basking in Josie’s world of self-reflection and unapologetic rock and roll attitude that Detroit is legendary for.

When musician and producer Ken Roberts saw an acoustic performance of Josie on Facebook he was blown away, the raw and intimate performance captured the one thing all songwriters strive to achieve “believability”, and he knew he had to work with her.  The two started working together with Josie’s songs as the foundation. As an accomplished guitar player, Josie molds and refines her songs acoustically only to tear them apart with Roberts’ unique production style and his ability to create dark beats with grinding synths that compliment Josie’s voice well.  Songs quickly formed into a unique sound that pull from the likes of Depeche Mode and IAMX yet contain a high art fashion swagger as if you just bumped into David Bowie at a Halston Party.

From the beginning, the style and the art of the music have been just as important as the melody and soundscape. Josie’s latest music video “Pure Morning”, featuring another collaboration with fierce femme fatal Sammi Doll (IAMX and Kat Von D), draws audiences to her unique brand of electronic rock and visual artistry. That theme continues with the videos for “Perfect Replacement” and “Fire” where fashion and desolation hold hands with Josie’s in-your-face performance. The singles, “Underestimated”, “Storm and Stress” and “Future” all test Josie’s artistic style and the ever present desire to give her audience something fresh, new and authentic. The upcoming album “IV0X10V5”, is to be released on Negative Gain Productions in February 2022.

Josie carries the same commitment of style and artistry to her high-energy live performances. She has shared the stage with Combichrist, Powerman 5000, Stabbing Westward, Tim Skold (Marilyn Manson, KMFDM), <PIG>, Daniel Myer (Haujobb, Architect) and Davey Suicide and has also performed successful headlining shows in New York, Detroit, and Los Angeles. With future songs and videos in the works, Josie Pace will continue the legacy of great Detroit Rock and Roll.
