Asheville musicians team up to perform The Beatles’ iconic Abbey Road album on the exact day of the 50th anniversary of the album’s release, September 26. The Asheville Beatles Band is well versed in the Fab Four’s music, having performed Magical Mystery Tour, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, and Revolver over the past 3 years. Audiences can expect a captivating performance by well-known local musicians Matt Williams, Ryan Reardon, Rich Brownstein, Gabrielle Tee, Jon Lauterer, Alec Fehl, Kylie Irvin, and Simone Weirich. The band dives head first into this timeless music, staying true to the original recordings, while embellishing arrangements for the live stage.
