ANGELS, DEMONS & COIN FLIPS, Aaron Skiles’ upcoming 10-song album, arrives August 2026. Co-produced and featuring lead guitar by Josh Jove (Eagles of Death Metal, The Shelters, touring/recording with Social Distortion), the record pairs Skiles’ signature guitar-forward anthems with a sharper, cinematic edge. Two singles will proceed the album release, beginning in June 2026.
Aaron creates music for the good times...and the bad. His guitar-driven, anthemic songs are built to give you a boost before you go out or something to retreat to should you choose to stay in. His music features urgent, melodic rock that sits comfortably between classic riff‑based songwriting and modern, emotionally honest indie rock.

In 2022 Skiles released WRECKAGE FROM THE FIRE, a rock record featuring members of Drive-By Truckers and other noted players. Jason Warburg of The Daily Vault called it “a vibe of brash, loud, slightly ragged but ultimately majestic indie-rock that draws heavily from the classics.”

His 2023 follow-up, WHISTLE PAST THE GRAVE, was voted Album of the Year by Americana Highways readers. The record, again featuring Taylor Hollingsworth on lead guitar, continued Skiles’ raw, rocking approach—fast-paced, introspective songs that take on themes of justice and the compromises of everyday life. Jon Worley of Aiding & Abetting praised Skiles as “one hell of a songwriter” with recording charisma to match.
