Downtown Disney favorites, The Swing Tones (part of Aaron Jacobs Productions) is Los Angeles’ premiere 13-piece Vocal Jazz Big Band. Helmed by KPFK Radio Host Aaron Jacobs, their sound blends the nostalgic charm of the past with “swingafied-takes” on modern tunes. The Swing Tones have performed at The Tropicana Laughlin, Herb Alpert’s Vibrato Grill Jazz, The Write-Off Room, the Downtown Disney Mainstage and more. Their hits range from Manhattan Transfer favorites like Boy From New York City and Operator to Andrews Sisters Classics like Sing Sing Sing and Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy. The Swing Tones originals include swingafied arrangements from Motown to Oingo Boingo to Shawn Mendez and Jessie Ware. Their sonic retrofitting of modern tunes keeps audiences bouncing back for more.
