Doing a few stripped-down shows with my buds Rowdy (The Handlers) and Toby Morrell (Emery). Guitars, stories, old songs, maybe a few surprises. No production, no big lights — just us and the songs the way they were written.

Riley Matthew Anglen, better known as “ROWDY” is a singer-songwriter who established the namesake band in 2011. Singing and songwriting have always been in the wheelhouse for the vocalist/guitarist since his early upbringing in the cradled foothills of Appalachia, the birthplace of country music, Bristol, Tennessee. ROWDY has since then comprised itself and developed from many musical and songwriting relationships that built a community around them, and continues to remain strong and steadfast today. So far, he has two independent releases, an E.P. Called “Fine Good Time” recorded with Jason Isbell’s prized band, The 400 Unit, released under songwriter name, Riley Anglen in 2015. His full length, self-titled record ‘Rowdy” was recorded with Aaron Gillespie (The Almost/Underoath) and released in late 2018.
