A View of Earth from the Moon

    Indie Rock

Building on a career that spans over 17 years with a history that includes Seattle, New York City, and everywhere in between, Jon Fickes proudly debuts his most ambitious album yet, Closer to a Ghost. The album, a release by his newest musical endeavor, A View of Earth from the Moon, is “everything I’ve always wanted a record to be.” The album’s twelve songs exhibit everything from blind irreverence to crippling obsession; from selfless love to complete emptiness; from boundless joy to unshakable regret.

Recorded in Seattle and mixed in L.A., “Closer to a Ghost” is meant for an audience that likes loud and unapologetic rock ‘n’ roll. The album celebrates being “over the top” and many of Fickes’s influences are unmistakable."

    Surf The Pines

    Alternative

Surf The Pines are a four-piece indie-rock, power-pop group from Seattle, Washington. The band's sound is often described as dreamy-guitar-pop with influences ranging from The Replacements to Teenage Fanclub, Big Star to The Stooges, and Bob Mould to Ryan Adams. Surf The Pines music is powerful and catchy, with songs that resonate in the soul.

Irish singer-songwriter Shane Leinster formed Surf The Pines with childhood friend Bardi Martin on bass and backing vocals. With Bill Ibsen on Drums and Patrick Porter on lead-guitar and backing vocals, Surf The Pines deliver a powerhouse of energy, rock and three-part harmonies.

While raising two daughters and with his wife in school, Shane Leinster, didn't have much time for rock and roll and took a long hiatus from music. It was during this time that Shane wrote some of his most soul searching and honest material laying the groundwork for what is now Surf The Pines. Bill, Bardi and Patrick are some of Seattle's most experienced and prominent musicians, each of them having played in a variety of well known bands throughout the years.

Surf The Pines are currently recording three singles to be released late 2017 and through spring 2018 with an album to follow next summer. Look out for live shows this fall and a debut single-release party before the new-year!

  • Clone Wolf

    Clone Wolf

    Alternative Rock

Exploring their own style of post-pop-rock, Seattle based Clone Wolf embraces the grunge and indie attitudes that permeate the PNW. The brainchild of Chris Rovik (vocals/guitar), the project grew from its tender singer/songwriter roots into a fully fledged rock outfit with the aid of Jonny Cole (bass/synth) and Jonny Gunderson (drums). With the full band, the sound took a turn for the heavier. They recorded their self titled EP at the cusp of fall in a house tucked deep in the woods.
